ASUS specifically positions the PA279CRV for professional video editors and colorists, with factory calibration and dedicated Rec.709 and other professional color-space presets.

COLOR-ACCURATE MONITORING

The ProArt gives you a significantly larger and more appropriate workspace for color decisions than relying only on a laptop display.

Use the dedicated Rec.709 preset for SDR video workflows, or select other available color-space modes depending on your project requirements.

I would not call it a “reference monitor” in the listing. Call it a factory-calibrated professional color display or color-accurate 4K monitoring display. That's both accurate and still sounds excellent.
