The Portable DaVinci Resolve Editing & Color Kit combines a compact iPad workstation with Blackmagic Design’s Micro Color Panel to create a highly portable post-production setup that can be used on set, while travelling, in a hotel room or anywhere you need to review, edit and grade footage.

No laptop desk required.

The Micro Color Panel connects wirelessly to the iPad, while the included external SSD can be used for your project media.

REAL HARDWARE COLOR CONTROLS

The DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel gives you direct physical control over your grade instead of forcing you to make every adjustment on the touchscreen.

Use the three professional trackballs and dedicated grading controls for Lift, Gamma, Gain, contrast, saturation, color balance and other primary correction functions.

Combined with the iPad touchscreen and Apple Pencil, the kit creates a compact and intuitive editing and grading environment.

EXTERNAL 1TB SSD INCLUDED

The included SanDisk Extreme Pro 1TB SSD gives you dedicated external storage for project footage and media.

This helps keep your workflow portable and makes it easy to work directly from supplied project media.

PERFORMANCE NOTICE

This kit is designed as a portable editing and grading workstation rather than a replacement for a high-performance desktop or MacBook Pro.

For the best experience, we recommend:

• Proxy or optimized media
• Compressed H.264 / H.265 footage
• Lightweight BRAW workflows
• Short-form projects
• Simple timelines

Performance will depend on codec, resolution, project complexity and effects.

For demanding multi-layer 6K RAW projects, heavy REDCODE RAW workflows, multicam editing or advanced post-production, we recommend our MacBook Pro Editing & Color Workstation.

SOFTWARE

DaVinci Resolve for iPad is installed and ready for use.

Customers remain responsible for their own project files, media backups and any paid software features or licenses required for their workflow.
